Fieldfare has two plans. The free tier gives you full access to every feature with usage limits. Pro removes the limits, unlocks a few power-user features, and drops the invoice watermark.
Free
Everything Fieldfare does, available at no cost:
- 10 invoices per month
- 3 clients
- 50 expense imports per month
- All invoice templates
- Full FX tracking, P&L, and dashboard
- CSV import with saved column mappings
- Provider fee comparison
- Invoice PDF extraction (onboarding + new clients)
- CSV data export
Free tier invoices carry a small Fieldfare watermark. For freelancers just starting out or with a small number of clients, the free tier covers everything you need. No credit card required to sign up.
Pro
Unlimited usage, no watermark, plus a handful of power-user features:
- Unlimited invoices
- Unlimited clients
- Unlimited expense imports
- No watermark on invoices
- All current and future invoice templates
- Client archiving — Hide former clients from your active list without losing their history
- Per-currency payment methods — Different bank accounts or services per currency (USD bank for USD invoices, GBP bank for GBP, etc.)
- Priority support
Every feature available on Free is available on Pro. The bulk of what you pay for is removing the monthly limits and the watermark; archiving and per-currency method scoping are the two small Pro-only additions.
Regional pricing
Pro is priced in your local currency, not converted from a base USD rate. Your price is detected automatically based on your location — no coupon code needed, no hoops to jump through.
- US$5 / month — United States and anywhere USD is the local norm
- €5 / month — Eurozone
- £4 / month — United Kingdom
- ₹250 / month — India
- ₱250 / month — Philippines
- R$25 / month — Brazil
The prices are not exchange-rate equivalents. They reflect what $5/month actually feels like in each place. Fieldfare is built for freelancers earning in foreign currencies, and many of those freelancers are in regions where a flat $5 is a very different proposition than it is in San Francisco. The regional pricing reflects that.
Upgrading
Go to Settings. Your current plan is shown at the top of the page. Click to upgrade and you'll be taken to Stripe checkout. Billing is monthly, cancel anytime. The upgrade takes effect immediately: your limits are removed the moment payment completes.
What happens at free tier limits
When you hit 10 invoices in a calendar month, you can't create new ones until the next month rolls over (or until you upgrade to Pro). The same applies to the 50-expense-import limit.
Your 3 client slots on the free tier are permanent: you can't free a slot by archiving, since archiving is a Pro feature. Delete works only for clients you've never invoiced. If you need more than 3 clients, upgrade to Pro.
Crucially: existing data is never affected. Your invoices are still there. Payments are still recorded. Expenses are still tracked. The P&L still works. You just can't create new items beyond the limits until they reset. Nothing is deleted or hidden.
Cancelling
Manage your subscription in Settings. After cancelling, your account stays on Pro until the end of the current billing period, then reverts to the free tier.
All your data remains exactly as it is: invoices, clients, expenses, payments, P&L history. Nothing is deleted when you downgrade. If you're over the free tier limits (more than 3 clients, for example), you can still view and manage everything. You just can't create new items beyond the limits until you upgrade again. Archived clients stay archived, but archiving/unarchiving controls become unavailable until you're back on Pro.
